I was approached by Pat, the owner of Biyoni Hair, Wanstead, in late November 2014. Although Pat was happy with the way her existing website looked (see below), she was frustrated with the backend system she had to use and was having problems updating her site.
Using the existing website as a starting point, I was able to duplicate the look and feel of it in Wix.
In the mean time, we needed to contact the company that had built the existing website.
Although the domain name was registered to Pat's address, the company had not provided her with her own login for the domain registrar, and instead had kept it in their own account. We set up a new account for Pat and asked for Pat's domain to be transferred there.
Pat and the salon staff are very active on Twitter, so I wanted to make their Twitter feed a feature on the home page. This was easily achived using a Twitter widget.
Pat also wanted her clientele to be able to request an appointment, which I was able to set up using 123ContactForm.
