  1. Unless otherwise agreed, all work is undertaken based on a hourly rate agreed between Liz Hawkins Ltd and the client. NB This includes website builds, social media setup, face-to-face meetings, Zoom/ Skype/ Teams sessions, phone calls, replies to emails, training and travel time. Any additional work that falls outside of the original project will be discussed and charged accordingly.

  2. Work on a project will commence once an email has been received from the client confirming acceptance of the agreed daily rate. This written order denotes acceptance by the client of these Terms & Conditions.

  3. Unless otherwise agreed, Liz Hawkins Ltd will invoice the client at the end of each calendar month for work completed during that month; payment terms are 30 days from receipt of invoice. 

  4. Liz Hawkins Ltd uses Weebly, Wix, Squarespace and Shopify for website design and hosting. The client agrees to be bound by the Terms Of Service and Privacy Policies of these third party organisations. Liz Hawkins Ltd is not liable in any event for interruptions of service or any problems whatsoever with Weebly, Wix, Squarespace or Shopify.

  6. With regard to editing, copywriting, photography, proofreading or database content, whether online or offline, the client is responsible for checking the accuracy and legality of the final copy/ images.

  7. All work in progress can be viewed in draft format during the build process. The client’s emailed approval to Liz Hawkins Ltd for the site to be made live denotes formal sign-off of the project.

  8. Once final payment has been received (and cleared, in the case of a cheque), Liz Hawkins Ltd will immediately forward the site login details to the client, if requested.

  9. Liz Hawkins Ltd reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions.

  10. All work undertaken by or on behalf of Liz Hawkins Ltd.
