I was contacted by Sarah and Julia from Aardvark Clothing because they needed a new online store to sell their 'workwear for women' range.
Their existing website was built in 2006 and although it did everything they wanted in terms of taking and fulfilling online orders, the overall design was a little dated and it didn't look great on mobiles and tablets. They also wanted to make better use of their photos and social media.
We reviewed a number of different platforms together and opted for Wix.
Before we got started on the ecommerce site, we quickly replaced the old site with a one-page landing site, so that the branding corresponded with social media activity.
Sarah played a big part in the design of the new site, sitting with me while I worked. She chose the colour scheme and layout, and sourced new high res photos.
Meanwhile I worked with Julia via Skype to sort out the Wix ecommerce settings, ie looking at inventory, confirmation emails, order despatched emails, etc.
I then worked with both of them via Skype to show them how to process orders, use the blog, update static pages, etc.
