We were contacted by Nic Bayliss from Drive Essentials, after he googled "web designer Woodford".
Nic had recently qualified as a driving instructor and wanted a website that looked professional whilst also being appealing to younger clients.
We decided to use Wix for the website build, as it gave us complete flexibility with the design. Nic had a very specific idea in mind for his logo, so one of the first things we did was to commission Patrick Hawkins to create the logo. Once this was signed off, it helped inform the colour scheme for the rest of the website.
Nic wanted to impart a lot of information to prospective clients , but we also needed to ensure the site wasn't too wordy. This involved pruning and re-writing copy to keep it as succinct as possible, and using links to external sites where appropriate.
We sourced photos and illustrations from stock photography websites, which allowed us to keep costs to a minimum. Patrick also worked on additional graphic design.
Nic also wanted help with social media, so we set up a Facebook business page, a Twitter account and a YouTube channel. He now also has a Google Places entry, a Google Analytics account and a Paypal account.
We used Google Drive to set up an Online Booking Form so that if a client completes the form, the data automatically sits in a spreadsheet within Google. We've also produced other marketing material and branded documentation.
